【心ここに在らず】
● Her heart is not in what she is doing.
訳：彼女はやっていることに心あらずの状態だ
【家族向け/こういう施設はない】
● There aren’t facilities like the YMCA in Japan that are family friendly.
訳：家族向けのYMCAのような施設は日本にはない
【ファンデーションがまぶたにたまる】
● If I put on foundation, it looks thick on my eyelids.
or
● It tends to look too thick on my eyelids.
訳：ファンデーションを塗ると、まぶたにファンデーションがたまってしまう
【帰るときに空室だといいなぁ】
● I hope the apartment will be available when we go back to Japan.
訳：私たちが日本に帰るときに、そのアパートメントが空室だといいな
【１つ条件を満たしても他のがダメ】
● If one thing is good, another thing is not good.
or
● If fulfill one desire, then another isn’t fulfilled.
or
● If it meets one requirement, but not another.
訳：１つ取ると他がダメ
