【左利きから右利きに直そうとした】

訳：子供の時に習字を習って、左利きから右利きに直そうとしたけれど直らなかった
【親の世代は直さなければならなかった】
● In my grand parents and parents generations, if a person was left-handed he had to switch to his right hand. But from my generation, being left-handed is alright, so there are many people who are left-handed now.
訳：祖父母や親の世代は左利きの人は右利きに直さなければならなかったけれど、私の世代から左利きでも問題なくなってきたので今は左利きの人も多くいる
