今回は歯に関するフレーズです 💡
以前から下の奥歯の詰め物をセラミックにしたいと思っていました。
その治療をするにあたって、見積もりのために歯科医院に診察に行って、診察台に乗ってから「下の歯の奥から２番目の歯って何て言うんだろう？」と焦った私… 🙄
皆さんはどう英語で言うか分かりますか？
【下の歯の奥から２番目の歯】
● It’s the second tooth from the back on the bottom.
訳:下の歯の奥から２番目の歯です
【上の歯の一番奥の歯】
● It’s the first tooth from the back on the top.
訳:上の歯の一番奥の歯です
【虫歯がある】
● I have a cavity.
訳：虫歯がある
● There were no cavities.
訳：虫歯はなかった
【歯にヒビが入っている】
● The tooth has a crack.
or
● The tooth is cracked.
訳:その歯にヒビが入っている
【歯ぎしりする】
● While she is sleeping, she grinds her teeth.
or
● She grinds her teeth in her sleep.
訳：彼女は寝ている間に歯ぎしりしている
歯ぎしり：gnash（発音：ナッシュ）
【歯が削れてきている】
● It seems her incisor tooth has become worn down.
訳：彼女の犬歯が削れてきているようだ
incisor：門歯・切歯（発音：インサイザー）
【抜歯する】
● I need to get an extraction.
訳：抜歯する必要がある
【口臭がする】
● I noticed that she has bad breath.
訳：彼女の口臭を感じた
【朝が特に臭う】
● It’s not only in the morning that I notice she has bad breath, but especially it happens in the morning.
訳：彼女の口臭は朝だけではないですが、特に朝に臭う気がする
【胃酸のせいかも】
● It might be caused by gastric acid.
訳：もしかしたら胃酸のせいかもしれません
【仕上げ磨き】
● She brushes her teeth by herself, after that I brush her teeth and floss her teeth.
訳：彼女が自分で歯を磨いた後、私が磨いてフロスをしている
【乳歯から永久歯に生え変わる】
● Your baby teeth will fall out and adult teeth will grow in their place.
訳：乳歯から永久歯に生え変わる
