【言われるまで気が付かなかった】
● I didin’t notice it until you mention it.
訳：あなたに言われるまで気が付かなかったよ
【もう１週間後だと思っていた】
● I thought the contest was held one week later.
訳：そのコンテストが１週間後かと思っていた
【挨拶しているかどうか怪しい】
● I’m not sure if my kids greet other people.
訳：うちの子もきちんと挨拶出来ているか怪しい
● There are times when my kids don’t greet people either.
訳：うちの子も人に挨拶していない時があるよ
【意外と見られている】
● Our hands are more visible than we thought（we thinkもOK）.
訳：手は意外と見られている
〝比較級+than+主語+thought〟で〝思っているよりも＝意外と〟のニュアンスになります。
● People see our hands quickly.
訳：人は（チラッと）手を見ている
